I would say that a ribbon to show support for “political prisoners” is the very definition of a political symbol.

Which is why the FA has the policy of no political symbols. I suspect if a player or manager wore something that symbolized the Catalonians were traitors, it probably wouldn't go over very well by the people who are on Pep's side.

Getting lectured and fined by the FA is a complete joke after Martin Glenn's comments last week.......“It could be the Star of David, it could be the hammer and sickle, it could be a swastika, Robert Mugabe on your shirt. These are things you don’t want. Should we have someone with a Ukip badge, someone with an Isis badge?”
