Ball bursts. City player picks it up near touchline nowhere near PA. Restarts by dropping it for Brighton GK (Brighton return it to City GK...)

Brighton GK miskicks a goal kick and plays the ball again. Play on... (lets him take it again)

It's a bit much when last week's ref is in the EPL.

Thought both of these at the time, and people around me (normally morons when it comes to the laws) commented the same. Very very weird

I've seen this many times at kick-off but at free kicks AND NOW goal kicks, you can't excuse it. It would have been ok last year if the ball stayed in the PA.
