Well, unfortunately your hands would be tied. The Laws of the Game mandate there be 2 equal halves.... But when the president of the country you're playing in tells you to do something, generally the man in power of the country trumps the referee...

"what would blatter want you to do?" That is how football is run. So, therefore do what the president wants....
