The answer is to drop down a few levels. Less need to push yourself, slower pace, more time to enjoy, less pressure, no team training etc. IMHO

I play very low level 6 a side and have the same issue. Doesnt matter what level football brings out an instinctive competitiveness.

Tru dat. I find that no training and it being easier to skip a game if a great ref game comes along makes it easier.
