No idea why Martinez was allowed to be off his line (less than 10 yards away) for the restart.

This is probably why we shouldn't refer to it as a back pass, if Torres had played this forward rather than slightly back it would still be an offence. Did Martinez handle a ball that was deliberately kicked to him by a team mate, and the answer is undoubtedly yes.
We all know that managing indirect free kicks that close to goal, but it was very disappointing see Stuart Attwell just give up with Martinez. Letting him start that far off the line really wasn't good enough, and I'm surprised the Chelsea players didn't make more of it.
