AR calls

If an assistant referee sees a foul, but I don't, when I blow my whistle, how do I tell what foul occurred? Do I go over and talk to him?

The AR should also be mimicking what the offence was for to indicate a push, pull, trip etc and shouting to you so that everyone knows.

If they're neutral assistants, bring it into your teamtalk about helping you with fouls and communication between you and them. If they're club AR's DON'T LET THEM FLAG FOR FOULS!

Alternatively, when the players say "what's the call" you answer with "a foul" or "law 12" and move away from the area quickly (I'm assuming the AR is near by and there is no chance of a mass confrontation).
