Absolutely tragic. I work in A+E and sadly it happens more than you'd like to think.

We all take refereeing seriously, getting wrapped up in observer's marks, club marks, development groups, promotion, cup finals etc - something like this happens and it makes us all realise how trivial those things really are, and gives us all some perspective. Life is blummin' short.

RIP.
 
I referee on their league so I know how much these sentiments are appreciated by all involved.

Very very hard to read things like that.....my own son is 15 so I know how devastating such a loss would be.

RIP to the young lad, love and condolences to his family.
