Site recommendations: Nike ref top with new FA badge

Interesting you say this, I got my shirt from here and my training jacket from Ref Stop, both with County Badge and they were both identical, flat Iron On badges. It’s only Kent FA that have a raised County Badge as far as im aware

    New kit - which badge?!

The answer to if you can wear coloured shirts is often both County and League Specific Some Counties (albeit not very many) have a blanket ban on any colours, and some allow it. On top of this, there are certain leagues that regardless of the County will still not allow colours Your best bet...

    Heading U7 - 11 rule changes

So once it’s clearly moved they can just shoot and score from that?

    New kit - which badge?!

The Referee Shop they are called, used to solely trade on eBay and have for years, but now have their own website by the same name - therefereeshop.co.uk I get all my stuff there now, I think they are quite small, good stock of key items such as black shirts shorts and socks, but they don’t...

    Heading U7 - 11 rule changes

I’m just having a dabble into kids football for a change and some extra matches, (and my ages!!) can anyone confirm re this new pass / dribble in rule A player may touch the ball (making it in play) and then immediately shoot and score, this is allowed as long as they touch it first and it...

    New kit - which badge?!

FAMOA was phased out before the start of last season, but I see more Referees than ever wearing them still, including those with brand new kits Aren’t as easy to find anymore though, The newly formed Referee Shop do sell them, but Ref Stop missing a trick getting rid IMO

    New 2026 Kit

I’ve got current Puma kits and I’ve not had a lot of this poor quality at any point, and I’ve been doing this 24 years - they are horrendous. Thin and paper and full of pulls. The other issue with a unique kit is if it’s not distributed through normal Puma selling channels (eg set suppliers)...

    New 2026 Kit

Thanks @ASM Interesting. We’ve already been assured not even a month ago that despite that, our kit (grassroots / level 4) will remain until the end of the 4 seasons We will see!

    New 2026 Kit

Current kits are for 4 seasons and Nike Lifespan for the range ends December 2025, should be the same kit until end of 25/26 season as that’s the 4th year These are the four seasons agreed 22-23 23-24 24-25 25-26 I’m not sure why PGMOL would change from 25-26 @ASM - do you know why this is...

    Training Kit 24/25

Now confirmed as Academy 23 (Polo, training shirt, drill top and pants) There are two types of jacket, it’s the knit version

    Training Kit 24/25

Yep. The issue is Nike Refreshes the key ranges, specifically Academy every year, so even if The FA were to use one for two years, they wouldn’t have the supply unless they had a deal with Nike to extend production, which is unlikely. They could choose one of the cheaper ranges which are still...

    Training Kit 24/25

You are correct, current Academy Pro 23 Range was discontinued by Nike in December and has therefore been sold off in most places. Ref Stop cleared large quantities of Polos (and still are) at 22.95. They have a few jackets too but still full price. If history repeats the previous few times...

New kit free... For L3 & L4 and above refs...

I’ve not heard of any coming off completely no, but peeling is common after a few washes. I’ve had plenty of vinyl since they stopped doing embroidery and haven’t had a single one peel off! As for these silicone ones on the Nike Polos, they are even worse, they just hang down as they are too heavy!

New kit free... For L3 & L4 and above refs...

I’m yet to find a colleague who has managed to wash their kit 5+ times and the silicone badge has stayed on, what a stupid idea just for show - I suspect they will be changed to standard vinyl from next season given all the returns ref stop have had

Best place to buy kit now

Newitts is generally the cheapest, but does have a high P&P cost. Don’t be tempted with the mainstream attraction of the RefStop because all your local Level 4’s tell you it’s great, they are at least 30% more expensive than anywhere else for everything - same kits and badges as everyone else...

    A&H International

The teasing is boring now, they’ve missed the boat this season and everyone has bought (kit at least) from elsewhere

    Replacement of FAMOA badge

I, together with some others, are in the business of kits and badges (not ref stop or referee store obviously) We are selling more FAMOA badges now than ever before, vastly outselling County badges, so don’t worry too much, Referees still want, and are buying this badge in large numbers...

New kit free... For L3 & L4 and above refs...

I agree. RefStop have known about this for a long time and were first to remove the FAMOA badge from sale. They have an announcement coming Friday according to their page, and the FA official page is down, so I smell something coming to that effect
