Just been sorted so can't complain. Under normal circumstances I wouldn't have reffed today but there's no other 4s available, at all

    Dropped ball dilemma

it appeared to be dropped properly, to the west ham player and once the ball hits the floor it's in play and the player can be closed down surely?

    Dropped ball dilemma

west ham ball was dropped to the west ham player who seemed to refuse to play it, united player ran in, took the ball and scored without it touching another player

    Dropped ball dilemma

yes i was watching live and my immediate reaction was goal (not knowing the law correctly!) i think your conclusion is correct as only one person touched it (assuming fernandes was further than 4.5m away as i havent seen it back) unless the west ham player wasnt ready though i'm not sure...

    Southampton Penalty

Don't agree, clearly...Will leave it there as I best make a move for my 10am kick off!

    Southampton Penalty

How is it not appropriate if var thinks it's not a foul?

    Southampton Penalty

Not for me, there's not enough force in walker, or anyone, to knock a player down like that. Can't it just be no foul either way?

    Southampton Penalty

Think your way off on both points tbh It's not a foul once you've seen the replay

    Southampton Penalty

I thought the Southampton player was lunging to get the ball and he then made contact with walker At the time I thought clear pen and red mind Video tells much more than the still pic:

    Luton V Swansea

I'm red here, think the Swansea player knows exactly what he's doing and puts one on the Luton player

    Should I report?

Don't think it needs anything official and doubt cfa will be interested, just drop the secretary/manager an email saying you've been made aware they all caught covid around the time of the game and it would be helpful if they'd told you. At least they'll learn for next time.

    Should I report?

Seems unfair if they didn't know at the time

    Cutting the Grass

I tend you agree at our level but the higher you go you need a positive signal that people can see as they won't be able to hear you

    City v Rb

You'd be surprised when watching at full speed, players crossing in small spaces etc.

    Referee retention idea

yes if it's U9s or similar age, as playing is probably more important than doing it right by the book. but not as you go up the ages and deffo not into open age. it would just become a farce!

    City v Rb

yep, agree 100%, thought it was a bizarre kit choice
