    Swansea v Brentford

I actually think Stroud is a very good referee. The foul you're referencing actually looked way worse in real time than slow motion, which is usually the other way round. Initially, I thought yellow for reckless, but could see why the ref went red. After watching the replays, a red does seem...

    FA Decal

I’ve found his depop, wasn’t sure if that was the only one. Does he have many reviews as I can’t seem to find any, although it looks like he’s had a lot of purchases

    FA Decal

Does anyone know of anywhere that sells the FA badge as a decal, rather than embroidered/stitched on? I bought one of the new colours from a site which doesn't offer FA badges. I have my CFA badge, but tend to referee between counties, so would rather have the FA badge. I prefer a decal as, imo...

    No worries!

    20-21 Season restart

Fully agreed. I just don't understand how half time team talks with 11+ players, subs and coaches can take place socially distanced, but a 5/10 minute team talk with 3 people can't

    20-21 Season restart

Why can't the pre match instructions be done socially distanced on the pitch?

    Jon Moss’ Boots

First listened to the Mike Dean episode and I’ve gone back and almost listened to all the others, they’re so good

    Jon Moss’ Boots

I notice a lot of people idolise Collina, however, I feel that if a referee was like him now, he’d be lambasted for ‘making the game about himself’. Collina is also still the only referee to be on the front cover of one of the main two football video games. Imagine the reaction if Mike Dean was...

    Jon Moss’ Boots

Tbh I’ve got the complete opposite impression. I speak to a Premier League AR frequently as he’s my coach and he’s very down to earth and always happy to help or speak about football. I’ve spoken with a few EFL and Prem refs and ARs on Zoom calls and in person at meetings, and can’t say I’ve...

    Jon Moss’ Boots

Completely agree. Not like it’s even visible or he’s wearing bright yellow boots

    Jon Moss’ Boots

Seen online that a few ex referees are angry at Jon Moss for having ‘Mossy’ on his boots. Really don’t understand the outrage. People saying it’s him making himself a ‘celebrity’, even though a lot of places offer free boot personalisation (I used to when I played). Wouldn’t have even been...

Not kicked a ball, not falling apart, not in the same division any more

Considering we never make it easy, it was ironic that we went up due to others messing up and leaving us with absolutely no pressure Happy weekend 🤗

    Decal vs Embroidery

That's how it came, so I've not bought embroidery since... I've since had my mum stitch on the FA badge I received after I qualified and that looks a lot cleaner. I do still prefer the decal as it kind of blends in with the kit a bit more (not that it makes much difference whatsoever lol) EDIT...

    Decal vs Embroidery

Personally, I think decal looks a lot better - these are from the same site. I think the decal (black shirt) looks cleaner and the word 'referee' is individual to the FA badge, so there’s no black ‘block’ around the badge like the embroidery

I think that was exactly what I went for

Robertson & TAA's post match rants

Yeah that wouldn’t have gone down well in that situation hahah although I do know he got a fine though

Robertson & TAA's post match rants

I’m not saying it isn’t a big deal, I mean in the PL, it isn’t a big deal as it’s quite obvious that players swear at the officials a lot at that level. Haven’t seen the Jesus incident so I can’t really say much about that

Robertson & TAA's post match rants

Not saying they’ve never heard it before - I mainly mean in terms of the image it presents to grass roots football. I sent off an u15 for a second caution for dissent (before sin bins) and their manager said ‘well players in the Premier League swear at the referee’. Just makes our job harder...
