That's how it came, so I've not bought embroidery since... I've since had my mum stitch on the FA badge I received after I qualified and that looks a lot cleaner. I do still prefer the decal as it kind of blends in with the kit a bit more (not that it makes much difference whatsoever lol) EDIT...

Personally, I think decal looks a lot better - these are from the same site. I think the decal (black shirt) looks cleaner and the word 'referee' is individual to the FA badge, so there’s no black ‘block’ around the badge like the embroidery
