3W promotion and fitness test questions

Perfect, thank you. And I assume by failing your attempts, you’d need to apply for promotion again and do all the games, etc?

3W promotion and fitness test questions

I received confirmation of my promotion to 3W, which I'm over the moon with! Unfortunately, I'm unable to make the National League induction camp as I'm away for a wedding over the weekend. Does any material tend to be handed out at these events? I know some referees didn't get badges, so I've...

    4/3W

Thank you, very helpful. If you fail, do you get other opportunities to attempt the test throughout the season?

    4/3W

Perfect, thanks for the info! Does it tend to be toward the end of May that you find out? Also, are the fitness tests done on the same sessions as level 4?

    4/3W

I’ve been nominated for promotion to 3W after achieving the necessary criteria. I know it’s now up to national FA to decide to promote me. I have a few questions Does anyone know when you tend to find out? I know it’s before the end of the month but that’s about it. Also - I’ve heard...

    Spurs Vs Leeds

I was surprised the penalty needed to go to VAR and wasn’t at least a yellow. Probably should’ve been stopped a lot sooner too. Great decision with the final penalty shout though. Looked a blatant pen until you see the replays

    OFFINABUS

Had a weird one yesterday. First time sending off a player for insulting me. He called me a ‘f-ing pr-k’. I sent him off, and after I did so, one of the subs shouted ‘whatever he said to you, he’s right’. I cautioned him for dissent but was sort of in two minds - could it class as OFFINABUS? I...

    2026/27 Step 2-6 Kit

I like them! They’re much more like players shorts but with pockets. I will admit that the quality doesn’t seem amazing though

    WHU v LEE

I’m not a happy Leeds fan here 😂 Surely a high boot and was surprised with 11 mins

    PAL v LEE

I don’t understand what the yellow is for either. Doesn’t look reckless and it only stoped a promising attack because the referee didn’t play advantage

    Thanks all!

Women's FA Cup - sin bins?

Thank you! I was sent the rules but I can’t see any mention whatsoever of sin-bins or temporary dismissals. I’ve found info about extra time but just nothing on sin-bins. I assume I’m just massively overlooking it but any help is appreciated

Women's FA Cup - sin bins?

I've got my first FAWC game on Sunday, which I cannot wait for! Are sin-bins in use? I've looked through the rules and there are no mention of sin-bins or temporary dismissals, so just want to make sure. Thanks!

    4-3W AR Appointments

Yeah I’m hoping that’s the case. Not Southern Counties, but Eastern, which is probably about the same thing - mostly Thurlow Nunn and Isthmian U18s under the lights. Mostly as a back up if I’m struggling for games

    FPL 25/26

Perhaps my proudest moment of the season in 24/25

    4-3W AR Appointments

Going for 3W this season. Does anyone know whether the 15 lines (including 5 Women's games) must be open-age? I note that for the 15 middles, it specifies open-age/adult games, but this is not mentioned for the lines. I'm missing most of September and potentially April, so looking at how I can...

    Feral U18's

Exactly this. When I played youth, we never had neutral appointed refs, and I recall no more than 5 yellows throughout U7s to U17s. Since refereeing, I’ve thought how many things would’ve been yellows or reds, but just never got given. Also had the same feeling when I occasionally referee...

    Cardiff vs Leeds

Thoughts on this? I’m a Leeds fan, but try not to be biased… I think this is a great decision. The commentator thought Cardiff were really hard done by because of this. For me, it’s only being debated because he’s got up and tried to carry on. If the foul doesn’t happen, it’s essentially a 2...

    EURO 2024 Final - Spain V England

Referee was really good tonight. Utterly confused at the apparent directive of not exceeding added time. The ball can’t have been in play for more than 1 1/2 minutes out of the 4
