City v Rb

only seen pix not any video clips but out of the three kits RB seem to have at their disposal, the other two would have been much preferrable to the light blue, dark blue with flashes of pink.
Esp from side on and the back.

Watching on my phone, I thought it was fine. I figure if I can tell the teams apart on my phone, then people watching on a much bigger TV and at the game won't have an issue.

maybe it looks different on video but there is a lot of light blue going on, looking side on as AR whilst not impossible, is not crystal clear.

You'd be surprised when watching at full speed, players crossing in small spaces etc.

Don't see a problem here, there is a massive difference.

Well cant be massive as both strips have light blue
Not saying they clash and they should not be wearing them, merely out of RB having a white splattered in red, and, a dark blue yellow splattered top, out the three, this is the least best option
the bottom part of the back of RB strip is light blue, as is the sleeve, in days where sock tape is ( or meant to be) considered so important

I guess for me, if you can have a light blue vs royal blue game (like Man City vs Leicester), this should work. I've seen games that are much, much closer than this that have still gone on.

I'm constantly astounded by these threads about kit colours. I really think some of you may have problems with colour perception (which is of course possible). Or maybe have the colour settings on your TV incorrectly set. For me, nobody (absent the above-mentioned colour issues) is going to have a problem distinguishing these two teams in an actual, real-world setting.

Also, we have the fact that a whole team of highly-experienced, top level match officials did not see a problem here.

My original post says only that out of the three seemingly avail RB kits, this appears the least preferable
My second post says not saying they clash.

RB first kit is white red, zero blue, light blue in it
RB second kit is dark blue with yellow splodges, again, no even close colours
yet the one they wore has flashes of light blue, i.e out the three kits, its the one closest to Citys

this and this alone was the point. No mention of not playing, changing kits, or eyesight defects.

Selling shirts is more important than common sense
