was observed on one of my first ever games as a referee and cant lie im really happy with this

Excellent. Well done
No idea why you need to stand still to make some signals however (CK's and GK's etc.)
This just sounds like individual preference to me and has no place in the report. Perhaps other observers can comment here

Its window dressing, its like following an offside, does it really matter if your arm is straight up at the restart? No.
bur rightly or wrongly, you have two refs end of seaaon for promotion, both so so equal, cant be split...
window dressing, selling the decision, looking the part, and other battle weary buzz words

seemingly trivial things like, his signals are smarter, come into play.

does it affect your refereeing or decision if you stand still and signal? no
but by the same token, consider an AR...do they signal throw or offside whilst on the move? no

I n the US the teaching is that signals should be made while standing-unless there is a good reason not to. it looks more controlled. but it‘s the small stuff.
