What would you have been doing this week?

Ok I'm getting bored.......

With the obvious caveats that the most important thing is that you and your families are well and that there are many (almost everything) more important than football, just thought it would be (sort of) interesting to see what you are all missing this week.

Looking at my calendar I had 2 Bostick U 18s lines, 1 schools cup final line and a Womens National League line this week.

You?

The Referee Store
“Midweek madness” for fixture catch up would’ve probably started this week in the youth leagues I referee so I reckon I would’ve ended up with at least 1 midweek game

Probably working away somewhere nationally looking into a pint pot and scanning a menu!

BUT, this 16lb weight loss so far has to continue now I’ve started the trend. Got a target in mind and I’ve made promises to achieve it!

Not sure what appointment I would have, because my last appointments in MOAS were from March. Although, I did have a course lined up I was tutoring on Sunday, so a shame that is obviously cancelled

I should have been going to Sweden today for the weekend. All to do with my wife's hobby; not football but it would have been a good trip.

Plenty of matches with the good weather and backlog from the winter. Would've been the first cricket match of the season for me (player) on Saturday too. Love the start/end of the football season as I'd usually ref a game Saturday morning and then go straight to cricket. Sunday games the following day.

Never been one for being indoors or 'chilling' on a weekend. Plus the money earnt in April is usually used to take me and my partner away.

Almost everything's more important than football?! Pfft, blasphemous! As someone once said, "some people think football is a matter of life and death. I assure you, it's much more important than that."

Anyway, I'd have been a qualified referee by now if not for this sodding virus so I would have had one of my first matches this weekend.

Aside from football, it would be nice to just get down on the beach with the mutts. Daresay I would be stacked with appointments. At the point football was stopped there were still around 50% of games outstanding due to the backlog and clubs were looking at 3 games a week to get through it.

I would've been admiring my leg tan, just above the sock line at the knee and below the short line so about 6 inches in all

Attended 2 league cup finals in my press officer capacity, a girls league game, step 7 middle, and a Sunday league middle.

Friday, I’d have already done 2 games this week and I’d have a great line tomorrow. Today I’d be looking at the free games and thinking what excuse I could tell Ms Sangria that I am “needed” for a pair if u17 3rd tier games on Sunday... “it all goes in the holiday fund dahling”... “you could bring the kids to watch*”

*I never say this!

i would have had my district cup final this week :(

likely to have been a right game with one team who doesnt like me and one who hates me so would have been lots of fun!

Strange times, a chap wants to see me on a Saturday afternoon, it’s worth 750k so I think a mask and some social distancing can coax me out of the duvet on my day off!

Would have had a Saturday game (most likely on the Isthmian), then meant to go see Romesh Ranganathan on Sunday before setting off for a week in Cornwall (putting it as a temporary location in the hope of picking up a midweek game). Instead, going to Northern Demark as have been locked down in Copenhagen for last month!!

Where abouts in Cornwall?
No step 5 and above sides here so you might have scored a step 6 or nearest game for you would have been Plymouth...
Can be sent to Bath as a level 3 from here so temp location on a holiday in Cornwall is a brave move :)

Tregoose was the planned location. Was hoping to reacquaint with Truro FC (having already reffed them in a feisty game earlier this season) but I'd have been fine to travel further if the opportunity was there!
