Registering for this year...

Afternoon Gents and Ladies,

Just wondering if anyone could answer this for me, I qualified in Feb of this year so apologies if this is a daft question. I've not had to register for the new season before.

I was wanting to know when,during the year, we can register. Currently I'm awaiting some MRI results to let me know the result of a knee injury. Its looking increasingly likely (from the professional opinions I've been given so far) that I've torn my ACL. That means I may need to go under the knife to sort it out.

I was thinking that there is no point registering now as I don't know currently how long this is going to keep me out for and I don't see the point in my refsec having me down as an active ref if I physically cant do it. But if I wait and I'm good to go in, say, December I'm assuming I can just register at this point and away I go?

You'd be better registering now and then just advising the RefsSecs that you are injured. If you register after a certain date, which I think is the end of July, there is likely to be a late registration fee.
