Anybody any experience removing Decal from A&H kit? I have a Cheshire badge on my kit that I want to take off and swap out with an FA badge instead but no amount of ironing appears to be having any effect!!!

I have moved to Cornwall FA now @PP62 ... and I burnt a hole in my other one with the iron :redcard:

I did consider if it would be possible to just stick the new badge over the old.
Shove a D-taxis Decal over it... A fine upstanding Sheffield company!!!

Did you have any luck with this? If you can get hold of some dry cleaning fluid that will do it. You need to leave it on for a while to soak in, so it softens the adhesive and you can rub it off with a cloth. It will take some time to remove and you may have a mark where the decal was.

Ideally you should use trich, but this is an alternative so should work although it may not be quite as good as the proper stuff.

The decal is stuck on with a hot melt adhesive so an iron won’t get it off. If anything it will make it harder to get off unless you can get something to stick to it so you can rip it off while hot.
