Evening all,

I've got a Spintso watch, had it for 4 years now, anyway 8 minutes from time today, I press stop due to a stoppage, only for the button to literally stop working, luckily I was wearing another one. Anyone had this problem with a knackered button and if so who did you get it repaired with (My watch is currently buzzing and thinking I'm adding on 6 hours stoppage time).

The Referee Store
Any old watch repair shop should do it. Imagine it isnt an uncommon issue and not spintso specific.

Have u tried the reset button? Thats different to the start /stop. At the very least will stop it buzzing and draining the battery?

Yep, I've had issues with my start/stop button. It has sort of seized up and I need to press it really hard to get it to work.

Little disappointed with this, as mines went after about 2 years of having it. For a £100+ watch it should be better.

I've tried, the reset button would reset it, however, today it's randomly started working again, but it's not right.

Me too, I'm not happy either, got to think whether the Spintso goes and gets replaced with another watch.

I've had mine for 14 months now, and need to change the battery, the bottom strap (6 o'clock ) comes offfine, but the top strap (12 o'clock ) screws just seem to turn and turn and not come out, as if the screws have been threaded at manufacture, took it to a watch repairer and said nothing they could do.

Anyone come across this before or any tips????

Thanks

I took mine to Timpsons and it took 10 minutes, cost £21 and now good as new with a 10 year battery warranty so if it goes again it's a free change.

Ok, but this one has an issue, that's what I'm trying to find out, I'd do it myself otherwise, but the strap won't come off.

Apart from snapping it off and ordering a new pin / screw I don't know what else to do.

£21 to change a battery??!!

I;ve just fitted the batteries to my Spintso but the battery low is still flashing and now I can't change the referee part to 45.00 from 45.30.....anyone help ???

shows why referees should always wear two watches

I had the same so I took it to pieces and lubed the button with WD40.....works fine

Two rather good looking lesbians moved in next door a few years ago and we became quite good friends, exchanging Xmas cards, the lot They then asked me what I wanted for my birthday..Very noble I thought, so I asked for a watch!! When the Sprintso turned up I was quite disappointed really!! :(

Changed my batteries last month, and now it's flashing again already and the vibrate has gone again!

FFS!
