Reffed an academy match on a 3G pitch this morning. I'm lucky in that I don't often pick up injuries but I'm sat here struggling to move with a really sore lower back (right hand side). This seems to happen EVERY time I referee on a 3G pitch, it'll be sore tomorrow and gone by Tuesday. I don't do anything differently to any other match (same warm up etc) yet this happens every single time.
Does this happen to anyone else? Any suggestions on how it could be prevented?
