I begrudgingly stop a game for a head injury recently, though Im sure I saw him "peeping", did the necessary game carried on.
85th minute home team score the winner from being 2-0 down from a set piece as im walking to the half way I look back and a defender lying on the floor hands on head (I saw no collision) and just assume hes doing the burying his head in his hands thing, but it turns out he wasnt. How are we supposed to tell when head injuries occur, and when a player is "injured" to break up/stop play?
