Apologies to @Jtpetherick1 as my comment last night was out of turn
At an RA meeting a few years back, Kevin Friend advised us to avoid 'Simulation' at grass-roots
On the contrary, in my experience, I've gone for a C1/SI caution on a number of occasions and I've found that it really helps with Match Control. Not only has it stopped the opposition getting 'out of hand', but I've not had much grief from the guilty party or his team
The amateur game in the UK hasn't really changed that much over the years. Cheating is still seen for what it is and has the potential to cause chaos in games if the referee allows it
