Open Age 2nd Open Age Game & Positive Feedback

I refereed my 2nd OA game today, only big decision was whether or not to give a penalty, and I decided to give it. Final score was 5-1 to the home team.
After the game there was lots of positive feedback from both managers and players. They said I had "a cracking game" and made some good decisions. One manager said that they liked that I stuck with a decision even though everyone else knew it was wrong. I need to show a little more confidence when making decisions and explain to players a little bit why I'm giving it.
Overall was very happy when I left and I'm loving refereeing at the moment :)

Lol don't grow to enjoy the feeling of positive feedback from players/managers/spectators. It will kill football refereeing for you when you know intrinsically you have had a good game yet everyone else at the game (aside from maybe an assessor) thinks you're the worst referee in the world. Game after game after game!

Take it with a pinch of salt mate. Smile, say thanks. Do the same with the negative feedback also.
