We had a friendly at the weekend with 2 step 5 teams but the Ref was a EFL Ref who would neither need to use or would be trained to use Sin Bins so guess what....... no sin bins its a friendly! if anyone oversteps the mark he'd just tell the manager to sub the player.

Who told you that? I have been unable to attend a brief so emailed the FA who sent me a link to online training. You get a nice certificate at the end so again I emailed the FA to see where this goes and the response was nowhere needs it.

When the ball is played, simple. Your forgetting your role as a referee to tell the attacker to retreat as you would at a free kick.

Just don’t get too hung up on it. You know the rule so referee it.

Think you are confusing the LOTG with competition rules. LOTG say issue a caution for dissent but the competition rules will over rule this and say to issue a sin bin.

Quick one all, Do you need to complete a separate referee course to become a futsal referee? if not are you able to just read up on the rules and cover games? advice appreciated.
