    SFA badge(s)

From what I understand, the kit comes embroidered, but a difference of £100 for the same amount of kit, is pretty shocking. I'll be purchasing the tracksuit, etc, from them. But I may well have to go with that route of getting an old kit. Rather looking forward to it though.

    Favourite Whistle

I've become rather fond of the Fox Sharx. Prefer it to the Fox 40 in every way, now I have the hang of it.

    SFA badge(s)

Is there anywhere I can get hold of the SFA badges for the kit? I'm due to begin refereeing up in Scotland next month and have spotted an excellent deal on getting the required kit (£185.95 for all 5 Adidas shirts, socks, shorts v £295 at my best guess for the Scottish kit, with embroidery)...

    Cards

In one season I had 121 cautions and 52 red cards over the course of 130 games. 5 of those reds came in an U15 fixture, where the players absolutely lost the plot. I still don't hold the national record though, I do, however, know the referee who does!

    Best ground / team reffed

Basically the political football that was played with a nation and prevented some very gifted players the opportunity the chance to play for their country against the best in the world. I gave the Gibraltar FA the rather open point that, using the Spanish argument, the English, Scottish, Welsh...

    Best ground / team reffed

Victoria Stadium, Gibraltar. Between St Joseph's and Gibraltar Utd. Very, very skillful players and made me despise the Spanish FA.

Any point putting match on wholegame if no cards?

It'll make a difference once Full Time and WGS are working in cohesion.

Junior/Youth Go and kill yourself, Ref!

As I'm issuing the red card, I would tell the player something along the lines of "Did you realise my best friend killed himself?" If the player feels bad, tough, it will teach him to start thinking about what he'll say in future.

    imitation of someone's accent

It's not really. Imitating or mocking somebody for their accent is designed to undermine them, especially in a competitive atmosphere. Just because it's a regional accent rather than a national one, doesn't make it right to mock them. It's also not that completely different because you're not...

    imitation of someone's accent

Caution for me. If the player concerned complained, I'd ask if he'd have done the same to someone from Jamaica. Any "Yes/No" answer, then he'll know the reason why.

    Claiming back Customs charges

HMRC are tied because of the trade agreement with China. China are not subject to taxation when sending things to us greedy consumers (so we can buy pirated stuff from AliExpress, but expect to taxed for buying the real thing from the US and Canada. No, I don't get it either. A possible way...

    Claiming back Customs charges

Frankly, you can't, not without conducting fraud for the VAT side. Shipments from the USA are now being stopped at Mount Pleasant and assessed by HMRC for VAT, even if there was a local sales tax, and then applied accordingly. The VAT is actually quite small - it's the rather disgusting charge...

    What's missing from your kitbag?

Those gigantic plastic cards available in shops like Direct Sports are solidly waterproof - would be nice if they were smaller and thinner.
