I guess from previous clips there appeared to be a slight stamping motion which according to Jan is reckless. Think there was a similar clip maybe 4 or 5 quizzes back

Yes I think I recall that one. I just don't think that should affect other clips. This one was careless, nothing more, IMHO.

I'm not suggesting the clips influence each other , and I agree with your assessment of the outcome.
I think we all pretty much agreed on careless the last time as well.
My point being they the clips are really similar in terms of player action so I can see why Jan has posted it as reckless based on the explanations, it that I agree with them.

Gone back and checked and it was quiz week 9 and in both explanations it says a stamp on the foot is considered reckless.

I'm not even sure I'd consider that subjective, just wrong 😆

But in all seriousness, 1 is careless and also, while I got 3 correct with the law answer, I'm not sure that's the action I'd take in a match unless the ball was obviously flat as a pancake!

I think that's what it means though... I think it's that the ball has no pressure instead of the pressure is not in line with law 2.

We all have games where a bit of air comes out of the ball and becomes soft and we'll get it replaced, but by defective I take that to mean popped, which would be very obvious.
 
With Q3, while Jan's answer may be correct and the most correct option, it's not the complete correct answer. The correct answer is a dropped ball to the goalkeeper in the penalty area (which may or may not be where the original ball became defective). This Q and the A seem to be inline with the old laws.
