Some clubs have been wearing certain colours for 50 years. It would be difficult to tell them to change their club colours even if they were black. It works for us in our league anyway
We asked for kit for years and they supplied us for the first time. We dont get kit every year. We buy our own usually but a lot of teams are starting to wear black so we had to buy 2/3 kits for years until this season
In Ireland, We have all different colours incase of kit clashes. Madness to think thats not the case in England. The league supplied us with a Black, Blue and Green kit for the season.
Referee should check teamsheets before the game. If the team has the wrong name beside a number than that player gets punished. Written in our league rules that the team is responsible to make sure the match card is filled out correctly. Takes the responsibilty away from the referee
Madness if u ask me. I take the player aside take his number and explain to him why he is being booked. Rarely ever flash cards as it can look messy at times
Dont understand the taking of names. Just take number offence and time. Then after the game crosscheck with the teamsheet. Whats the reasoning for taking the players name? Not knocking it just dont see the reasoning
It works differently in Ireland. The more u say no to games, the lower the standard u get. Even though I'm a category 1 referee which is the top below professional you can still be doing lower standard games.
